If you use your MTN
BIS plan on your USB modem
and/or download heavy files with it, you could fine yourself in a
situation where you run out of data (MB) before the validity period of
your data plan expires. And this means having to waiting until the end
of the validity period of the said subscription before you can
re-subscribe for a new BB plan. This can be an exceedingly frustrating
situation.
Imagine running out of data say, on the 10th day of your subscription, and having to wait out the remaining 20 days before you can do a fresh subscription.
The frustration levels associated with this situation is better imagined than experienced.
Therefore, if you find yourself suddenly running out of data before the 30 days subscription period, and you want to immediately re-subscribe, then all you need do is:
sms EXPIRE to 21600
After sending the above sms, your BB plan will be deactivated and you can now subscribe for a fresh BB plan and continue your browsing and/or heavy downloading.
